Sono state annunciate le nomination agli MTV Movie Awards 2010, che si terranno il 6 giugno e che verranno presentati da Aziz Ansari.
I film candidati a più premi sono Una notte da leoni (The Hangover), New Moon (che ha in alcune categorie due o addirittura tre nominati!) e Avatar. Tra gli attori dominano quelli della Twilight saga: Kristen Stewart è nominata quattro volte, Robert Pattinson e Taylor Lautner in tre.
