Shutter Island, colonna sonora

Con Shutter Island Martin Scorsese si lancia in una personale digressione sul thriller psicologico basandosi su un romanzo, e puntando a canoni estetici classici, questo intento visivo non impedisce al regista di dissertare musicalmente sulle emozioni umane e sul labile confine tra suggestione e realtà con uno score mai banale, affidato ad un melange molto variegato di artisti ed esecutori.

Ne viene fuori una corposa colonna sonora in due cd per 18 tracce, tra partiture per archi e pianoforte, spiazzanti e coraggiose digressioni nell’elettronica sperimentale, senza tralasciare qualche confortante incursione canora, vedi le suggestioni romance anni’50 di Johnny Ray, sonorità che si pongono come suggestivo e puntuale contrappunto all’allucinazione perversa formato Scorsese.
